Georgia Southern seeks Assistant Professor of Theatre/Costu

Georgia Southern (www.georgiasouthern.edu) seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Theatre/Costume Designer.  Students in the NAST accredited Theatre program work with faculty who are active professional Actors, Directors, and Designers.  Teach Costume Design, Theatre History, Theatre Appreciation.  Supervise Costume Shop/serve as coordinator of Costume Design.  Nine-month tenure-track appointment, salary: competitive.  Required: M.F.A. and/or Ph.D in Costume Design.  Screening of applications begins October 1, 2010 and continues until the position is filled.  Start: August 1, 2011.  Application: letter addressing the qualifications; Resume, 3 recent letters of recommendation, and the names, addresses, telephone numbers, and email addresses of  5 professional references.  Applications: James Harbour, Search Chair, Search #59247, Department of CommArts, GSU, P.
