BTN Endowment Fund - Established under the leadership of the BTN’s fifth president, Dr. Lundeana Thomas, this fund was created for the purpose of providing long term financial health for the organization. The endowment does not support yearly operating expenses.

In December 2010, the current administration initiated a special year-end request for gifts toward increasing the endowment in honor of the “Silver Sankofa,” BTN’s 25th Anniversary. During the 25th Anniversary Conference, founding BTN president, Dr. Ethel Pitts-Walker, challenged the organization to increase the endowment to $10,000 by BTN’s 26th Annual Conference. She also made the first pledge on behalf of all the past presidents to collectively contribute $2,000 towards this effort.
BTN Legacy Fund - This fund was established to honor BTN members and black theate's luminaries who passed away. Individuals can make contributions to this savings account in remembrance of an ancestor, family member or friend. The Legacy Fund can be used to support the organization’s yearly operating expenses in times of severe financial hardship
