Virginia Commonwealth University Seeks Assistant Prof of Voice and Speech

The Virginia Commonwealth University Department of Theatre is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Professor of Voice and Speech.

Responsibilities: This position is a tenure-eligible faculty position in the area of voice and speech.  Service and advising duties and continuing professional work/scholarship are expected.  Theatre VCU faculty are expected to have demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or have a commitment to do so.

Qualifications: Applicants must have a terminal degree or equivalent professional experience and at least three years of professional teaching experience at the University/College level.  Experience coaching singers for musical theatre and expertise/certification in one or more voice and speech pedagogies is preferred.
