Purpose: The Black Theatre Network directory is intended to be a networking and professional development resource for theatre professionals and advocates dedicated to the exploration & preservation of the theatrical visions of the African Diaspora. The online directory presents an advantageous opportunity for both advertisement and recruitment. Professionals and advocates must be members of the network to post a profile to the directory. However, the directory is open for exploration by the entire community.
Posting Policy
The following statement presents guidelines to follow when posting your profile and discloses information pertaining to the information gathering and dissemination practices for Black Theatre Network online (blacktheatrenetwork.org).
By posting your profile, you signify your acceptance of these guidelines. If you are not comfortable with any policy described in the guidelines, you may feel free to e-mail us with questions or concerns or to send us an instant feedback message. We reserve the right to modify BTN’s online posting guidelines at any time.
When you post your profile with us, it does not imply an endorsement by the Black Theatre Network. Furthermore, the Black Theatre Network is not responsible for use by external parties of any information you share and post online.
By posting your profile, you consent to the use by BTN and/or person(s) authorized by BTN of any photographs, interviews, and information which you upload to the BTN website. BTN Members understand that BTN will only use uploaded media files for the advancement of the organization and the promotion of the organization and its membership.
The Black Theatre Network reserves the right to remove any profile at any time.
Guidelines:
Each member of the Black Theatre Network is entitled to have up to two (2) profiles.
Chose titles for your profile that gives others an accurate idea of yourself; remember that member profiles provide an excellent networking tool for the entire membership, so be clear about your current work and titles. You may enter more than one category for each profile by holding the “control” key while making your selections.
Members should stay true to the statements they enter in their profiles. Should the scope of your professional/academic work undergo change, please update your profile accordingly.
