Lou BellamyPearl CleageAward winning playwright Pearl Cleage  and Founder and Artistic Director of Penumbra Theatre Company  Lou Bellamy will  receive the Winona Lee Fletcher Award for Outstanding Achievement and Excellence in Black Theatre.
Terrel Alvin McCraneyThe BTN Presidential Pathfinder Award, presented to an artist or an institution that illuminates a path to innovations and new concepts in Black Theatre will be awarded to playwright and actor Tarell Alvin McCraney,  McCraney is better known in the theatre world for his The Brother/Sister plays, a trilogy which explores homosexuality, family and Yoruba culture in rural Louisiana.
Carlton and Barbara MoletteLundeana ThomasBTN founding members Dr. Lundeana Thomas (BTN 5th President), Dr. Barbara Molette and Dr. Carlton Molette will receive Lifetime Memberships to honor and recognize their remarkable service to the organization.
