Assistant Professor/Associate Professor (Adjunct)

Yale School of Drama (YSD) seeks a full-time Head of the Projection Design concentration within the Design Department starting July 1, 2012. Responsible for teaching projection design courses; establishing curriculum and class schedules; overseeing quality of teaching, hiring faculty; mentoring, advising and overseeing graduate projection design students in production work at Yale Repertory Theatre and YSD; selecting incoming class, and handling academic affairs and budget for projection design concentration. Candidate must have significant professional projection design experience in the regional and/or commercial theater, and strongly demonstrated mentoring, management, communication and leadership skills. Teaching experience preferred. Salary dependent upon experience; full Yale University benefits package. Review of applications will continue until the position is filled.
