Penn State School of Theatre is seeking a tenure track faculty member at a rank commensurate with experience, to begin August 2013. The candidate will teach THEA 100, an introductory course presented in lecture/demonstration format. The course serves a large population including majors and non-majors and is regularly voted by students university-wide as “The Best Course on Campus”. This position requires the teaching of other undergrad and graduate classes in history, theory, and criticism, and dramatic literature. Other areas of teaching are possible based on the candidate’s interest and experience. Candidates should have completed a terminal degree and a minimum of three years teaching at the college/university level.
