BTN Membership

Membership

BTN is an organization of volunteers, run by volunteers who seek to expose the beauty and complexity of the inherited theatre work of our ancestors.  

Membership fees allow us to pursue our mission to COLLECT, PROCESS and DISTRIBUTE information that supports the professional and personal development of our members.


The Black Theatre Network strives to:

rigth_arrowrdc Provide Black Theatre artists ·and scholars with a milieu to exchange ideas
rigth_arrowrdc Provide a national forum for the examination, discussion and planning of Black Theatre.
rigth_arrowrdc Encourage the production of plays about the Black experience
rigth_arrowrdc Disseminate employment and career development opportunities in theatre

No other organization offers as much practical information on the national condition of Black Theatre


Individual Membership
Any Person interested in Black Theatre may become a member of the organization upon payment of the prescribed annual individual membership fee of $40

Organization Membership
Will be granted to any·interested organization upon·payment of the prescribed·annual fee of $75

Student Membership
Any·student interested in Black Theatre·may become a member of the organization·upon payment of the prescribed·annual fee of $25

Retired Membership
Will be granted to any interested retiree upon verification of that status and upon payment of the prescribed annual fee of $25
