The departments of Dance and Theater at Skidmore College seek a Technical Assistant/Stage Manager in Dance and a Technical Assistant in Theater. This is a full time, renewable, 9-month academic year position. We are particularly interested in candidates from under-represented backgrounds who have experience working with students from diverse backgrounds that can contribute to the diversity and excellence of our academic programs. Bachelor's or equivalent professional experience in Theater. Demonstrable ability as a scenic artist and props crafts-person required along with the ability to lift 50 pounds. Experience with ETC light boards, Q-Lab sound software and video editing software preferred. The successful candidate must be able to work with students from a wide variety of majors and skill levels. Review of applications begins immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
