DIRECTOR OF THEATER SAFETY AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH for Yale School of Drama/Yale Repertory Theatre (YSD/YRT). This position serves as expert resource to, and senior level collaborator for YSD/YRT in the workplace and classroom; and for the theatrical production process; establishes and implements standards, training and practice, strategies, policies, procedures, communications, documentation, monitoring, and reporting for all aspects of theater safety, emergency planning and preparedness, security, and occupational health; and serves as leader in the field in the areas of safety, emergency planning and preparedness, accessibility and ADA compliance, and occupational health.

Eight years related experience, or four years related experience with a Bachelors or advanced degree (preferred); performing arts experience required. Expert leadership, communication, strategic planning, problem solving, and prioritization skills. Must have ability to work effectively, flexibly, and safely with a large number of staff, students, interns and other professionals representing a diversity of personalities, gender expression, race, sexual orientation, religion, ability, age, class, and immigration status.
