Assistant Professor Theatre Lighting Design

The Department of Theatre and Dance at Baldwin Wallace University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track assistant professor faculty position in Lighting, beginning August 2018.

The successful candidate will teach courses in the theatre program; design for our mainstage season; teach additional courses in area of expertise (i.e., sound, theatre technology, projections, Vectorworks, etc.); advise students. Service on department and university-wide committees is expected.

The Department of Theatre and Dance at Baldwin Wallace University offers a BFA in Acting with an emphasis in classical drama, and a BA in Theatre (with four tracks: Acting/Directing, Stage Management, Dance, and Tech/Design). The department works closely with the Music Theatre and Opera programs, and we have a partnership with Great Lakes Theater. The University seeks to attract a culturally and academically diverse faculty of the highest caliber. Qualifications: MFA in Lighting Design; professional design experience.
