Assistant Professor in Performance/Somatics

The School of Theatre and Dance seeks an Assistant Professor in Performance/Somatics with expertise that will complement existing faculty specialties while advancing the School’s ability to educate students in the multiple domains of classical and contemporary performance. The successful candidate will have expertise and certification in a somatically-based movement technique in combination with experience as an acting or voice/speech teacher. Areas of specialization may include: specific or hybrid approaches to teaching basic and advanced body awareness techniques in combination with specific or hybrid approaches to teaching acting or vocal techniques.
