Tenure Track Assistant Professor in Theatre--Acting and Directing Open Date: Sep 18, 2018 Close Date: Dec 21, 2018 Vanderbilt University seeks applications for an assistant professor specializing in acting and directing with secondary strengths in creating work for digital media, performance art, and/or developing original performance work for a tenure-track appointment in Theatre, effective August 16, 2019. Teaching load is 2-2 with a one course reduction for direction of one departmental production, bringing the total course load to 1-2; courses include upper and lower levels of acting. The successful candidate will have experience teaching undergraduates at a variety of skill levels and will demonstrate an interest in forging meaningful connections to other University departments and programs.

Qualifications MFA or PhD in hand by August 16, 2019.
